  • ABOUT CINDY

    Cindy is a tax manager in Dugan + Lopatka’s Tax Department. She concentrates her practice on income tax compliance for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, limited liability corporations (LLC) and partnerships.

    She has extensive experience serving clients who are US citizens living abroad as well as Resident and Nonresident Aliens and her background includes assisting clients in such industries as construction, contractors, farming, forestry, vineyard, distribution, doctors, lawyers, sales, investment, and real estate.

  • PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES & AWARDS

    Cindy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS).

    She received a Corporate Excellence Award for saving a company $25 million during an IRS audit and $7 million during an acquisition.

  • COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

    Cindy served for many years as the treasurer of the Sabre Hockey Association, a nonprofit organization providing youth hockey to Naperville and the surrounding suburbs. She supervised accounting for the day to day operations as well as numerous fundraising events. Her most significant achievement was moving their outdated registration system online.

    Cindy oversees the Sabre Hockey Lori Maly Fund, established to assist low income families with hockey fees. She also successfully obtained tax exempt status for a youth hockey organization related to the Sabre Hockey Association in 2015.

    In 2016, Cindy volunteered to get a nonprofit’s tax-exempt status reinstated after it’s nonprofit status was revoked.

    She is currently an active member of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce.

  • HOBBIES & PERSONAL INTERESTS

    Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and facilitating their family games and activities.    She also enjoys boating, watching hockey games, and attending gymnastics meets.
